Overview
About Me
Photographer who starting his own business; worked in restaurants for years and have a SERIOUS love of that world. Recently opened myself up to travel and seeing how others interact with the world around them. I enjoy getting lost in big cities to find my way, as well as hiking throughout the wilderness to find myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why not!? I've done hostels with a BUNCH of other travelers, and I've found that I sometimes get overwhelmed by the sheer number of people; I find it easier to open up and share ideas on a one-to-one arena. Also, the amazing travelers that I will get to host will open me up to regions that I may not be aware of and give me a personal insight.
Interests
I want to see the places that aren't in the travel guides; the places that other tourists aren't running to see. I would love to hear YOUR favorite tiny little street and why it meant so much to you. I want to hear your mistakes while traveling (or maybe in other areas, too) so that I can learn more about myself. For a moment, I thought my story was very clear cut and linear but what I'm realizing is that when I traverse off the beaten path, I'm SO much more fulfilled.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm an avid reader, so I generally have a book on me; I love a song sending tingles down my spine, a good read changing how I've thought, before, and movies that inspire the images that I produce.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked over 2000 Kms from Vézelay, France to Finisterra, Spain (Chemin de Saint Jacques to Camino de Santiago to the Camino de Muxia-Finisterra)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a quick study and I'm always looking to learn a new skill; I'm apt to show you a few things or two. I love life-hacks, in general, since I feel it helps me conceptualize items in new and unique usage (and often I end up using the techniques on photo shoots).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, all I got is my own experiences; the stories and destinations I've been able to see have left an indelible mark on my soul and have left a permanent "wanderlust" etched into it.
