About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel beyond my wildest dreams

ABOUT ME

My friends would probably say that I'm the most hilarious person they know. They would say that only because I have the best luck at having hilarious things happen to me. I never try to be funny. Funny things just happen and I'm glad that it brings a smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I sleep on anything comfy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Other than crashing on a friends couch or being offered a place to stay while hitch hiking, I have one experience crashing in a yard with our tent and it was great.

Interests

Camping, concerts, music and art festivals, education, hiking, driving for days, the beach, the woods, the city, artsy neighborhoods, bright colors, and cold beer on a patio with friends surrounded by Christmas lights.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wes Anderson films, Paul Thomas Anderson films, The Coen Brothers, my musical tastes are pretty broad but as of now my favorite bands include Wilco, The Decemberists, The National, Arcade Fire to name a few. As of right now my favorite author is Christopher Moore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Driving across Canada with my partner Ashley spending a month on the road seeing everything we possibly could (including a dip into Washington to attend the Sasquatch Festival) before spending a year in Jasper National Park.
2. Hitchhiking across Canada with a great friend from Saint John, NB to Vancouver, BC

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some musical knowledge by teaching the basics of guitar, mandolin, banjo and bass. I am also really good at high fives.

Countries I’ve Visited
