About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To continue the never ending quest for knowledge.

ABOUT ME

I'm Fairly easy going and open minded, respectful and helpful. I love a good conversation and learning new things. I'm a Gas Turbine mechanic working on commercial and private jets, although I'm in transition into a new career as an electrician. I've also worked as a cook and have a big passion for great food.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is a train that runs on experience and adventure. May that train never run out of fuel".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to Couchsurfing so I don't have any experience with it. My brother got me onto this site, and he has used it for years with no problems at all. I would like to give it an honest go, with both hosting and surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I hope to have some soon. My brother told me about this site, and he's used it numerous times.

Interests

Photography, hiking, camping, mountain biking, cooking, dirt biking, skating, music, home renos, adventures... just about anything outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just about any kind of music except country or gangster rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Repelling off a 120 foot cliff - my first attempt at repelling.

Skydiving at 11,000 feet... can't wait to go again!

Renting a scooter in Cuba and leaving the resort to explore the nearest city, and not knowing a word of spanish.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach and/or share some great recipes with someone willing to learn new things - there is no substitute for great food!

I'd also like to go on adventures in hiking, biking, camping and exploring the city or new trails. If you're into dirt biking, I'm game as well!
