Travelling around Taiwan for 3 Month, and write a Blog about my experience in this beautifull Country

ABOUT ME

My name is Mark, at the moment i stay for three Months in Taiwan and write a Blog for the Tourism Board of Taiwan about my experiences at Work and Holiday in Taiwan. I was born in Russia, Siberia. When i was six me and my family imigrated to Germany, Bavaria. Im my childhood i would visit my grandmother every summer for 3 months in a small village in the middle of a big forrest of sibiria. So i am very close with nature. I go fishing to relax after work and earn new energy. I go to the forest sometimes to do archery on plastic animal targets. I often go camping outdoors in the mountains at the german alps. I try to learn all the best things from different cultures, and live a life with good karma. I think it isn't easy to write about myself, as i have a lot of interests, so i think the best way to learn more about me and my way of life is to meet me.

PHILOSOPHY

After a real hard work training and the boring 7to5 worklife in Germany, i will enjoy for a few month the life of a traveller. Visiting beautiful places in asia, to earn new energy for myself and open my mind for new plans. My way of life after a few travel experiance are "Carpe Diem" - enjoy every day of your life. I will visit the most unique places in the world, i will talk to unique people in the world and i will try the unique foods of the world. This is my passion!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment i am travelling around Taiwan, so i am unable to host. After my journey i will be happy to host couchsurfers in my hometown, and show them the life of locals rather than the life of a tourist :-). For the time being, i will participate in anyway possible while couchsurfing, i am a real good cook and would be happy to make you a European meal and share stories about my life and where i have traveled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far i have not had a couchsurfing experience, but i have many friends, who have used this very frequently and have nothing but good things to say about couchsurfing so i look forward to trying this out as often as possible. I think this is the best way to learn more about the amazing culture of a country and its people.

Interessi

First of all i like to travel, and visit all the beautiful places in the world. After travelling the whole of Europe, i am now in love with Asia.

My other interests are cooking, any kind of sport, fishing, reading Wikipedia articles and working on my online travel guide 'eu-asien.de'.

Musica, film e libri

I listen any kind of music which is good. From Joe Cocker, 50 Cent, Michael Jackson about Dj Tiesto, 3DoorsDown, to Rob Dougan (Matrix Sound).

My favorite book is 1984, George Orwell.

My favorite movies are King Kong, Scarface, all Movies with Jim Carrey, Titanic, One Earth, Animals Are Beautiful People.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I rented scooters in Taiwan and drove through a storm into the mountains and lived with aboriginals (Paiwan) :)

i have traveled to many beautiful temples across asia, my favorite being in India when i heard the temple monk sing it made the hairs on my arm stand on end. So Amazing!!

If you have a bow and arrow i could teach you how to use it :) or i could show you how to cook european meals. I am also able to help teach in the languages i know. and if you like to fish i can give you hints and tips on how to improve :D
