I travel monthly between my small town in northern Wisconsin and Austin, Texas to be with my two children. I own or co-own and manage a number of businesses. I use Airbnb almost exclusively for travel accommodations because I prefer to avoid the cold sterile environments of hotels. I understand that they serve a purpose but I'd prefer to hand my money over to individuals who love their homes rather then large corporations that are singularly focused on the bottom line. I also thrive on meeting my fellow entrepreneurs who open their homes and share their stories. I'd like to start Couchsurfing.
