CURRENT MISSION

Recently just moved to Perth Australia. My mission I guess is to just relax, be happy and live each day as it comes without planning too far ahead! That's a big enough mission for anyone, anywhere.

ABOUT ME

I would say I'm easy to get along with. I have a good sense of humour especially being from Liverpool, us scousers like to think we are all comedians. Generosity is something I feel is essential in our lives. There's so much we can share with others without the feeling that we've given too much. Listening to others I enjoy (to a certain degree:) but I too like to talk and express my thoughts without fear of being embarrassed. I always say if you can't laugh at yourself sometimes then who can you laugh at.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people as you wish to be treated yourself! I don't always conform to this, which makes me a real person with faults I recognize.

Interests

I have a passion for travelling and exploring new worlds and cultures. There's so many places I want to visit, so many new faces to meet and greet. I enjoy socializing with friends and family but also like my own company at times. Down the pub or at parties, I find mixing with people a very rewarding part of my life. I like to keep my health and fitness in check by working out but thats not to say i dont eat, oh i love my food and cooking! Football and Liverpool football club in particular is a love of mine. Watching, playing and talking about football is really great fun. There's many other sports I like try also and believe me that saying of laughing at yourself comes to mine with some sports I have attempted.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a variety of movies but find movies like music are always best shared! I am quite fond of foreign movies especially German ones starring Moritz Bleibtrau.
Music has to be The Smiths, Arcade Fire, The Beatles (of course being from Liverpool). I cant continue with this list as I'd be here all day so, plus I'd rather go listen to my music now

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling in Thailand has to be pretty high on amazing things I've done, having been there four times it's a magical place. From elephant trekking to staying with the local people and even tribes people to bungee jumping or jungle trekking then sleeping under the stars then swimming in the waterfall when you awake. Thailand is a truly amazing place and has a huge place in my heart especially because of the wonderful people who I've met along the way. You know who you are!
A best friend and I went to Borneo a few years back and climbed Mount Kinabalu. Its the largest mountain in south east Asia and took five days to complete. Similar to Thailand in many ways, the country is amazing and likewise the people. People who inspire you to enjoy life and be a better person. Those people, places and moments have left an imprint in my life in which I cherish dearly.

I am full of useless information. You all know a person like me, the guy who knows the random facts about the silly, stupid, shocking things. I know tons of serious stuff too but that's for another day! I enjoy absorbing other peoples wacky facts to add to my own :)
