I like to meet interesting people. Have hosted many exchange students and like to meet people from other countries and cultures. I enjoy contact with people from other countries and other cultures.

I live near the center of Grand Rapids, Michigan in a townhouse development. I am not working except for volunteer jobs.

So far I have not participated as a guest. I have hosted many guests in Hawaii and in S. Africa. And it has been a very interesting experience.

I have seen the temples along the Nile, the art and architecture of Paris, and have travelled by train across Australia.I have walked on the glaciers of New Zeeland and been able to touch whales in Patagonia. I lived two years in Johor Bahru Malaysia and worked in the Peace Corps. I was in Pagan, Myanmar, Luang Prabang, Hanoi, and Angkor Wat. All wonderful places. My favorite place is probably Bali.
