About Me
CURRENT MISSION
We are creating a sustainable riverfront travel accommodation and platform for responsible travelers to serve the Redhouse village and surrounding communities of PE and the Eastern Cape.
We are located in a quiet village, on the edge of Port Elizabeth, 10km from beach, 45km from Addo Park.
We are involved with the surrounding communities in various Music Therapy, Permaculture, Conservancy, Art, Education. We offer windsurfing lessons and equipment use of canoes, paddleboards, a rowing boat and windsurfers.
By staying with us, we hope you feel relaxed and revived, can volunteer to give back to the surrounding communities, and can see a bit of life in South Africa.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because after years of using the platform as a backpacker, I understand the value of Couchsurfing while traveling and want to provide that opportunity for other travelers. I have a heart for service, and hope that by staying with me you can help out in local service projects in the Motherwell township community, where my friends are running a soup kitchen, recycling center, art gallery, and restaurant to empower the township.
Interests
I am interested in travelling around the world in search of waves, observing new cultures, permaculture and environmentally sustainable living, making new friends and learning new languages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycled for 5 months from Korea to Indonesia, travelled down the Amazon for 3 weeks, visited Machu Picchu and I really enjoy surfing Jeffrey's Bay.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about permaculture, gardening, and sustainable living. I can also teach you how to surf, windsurf, and sail if you are interested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
You can share your culture, travel stories, and help serve in the local township community projects to give back.
