Overview
About Me
A rolling stone gathers no moss. A retired, single, gay, 50+ year young American. I am learning the harp, I walk 5 miles in the morning with my dog, I taught general music for 28 years and often sub k-1 here in Palm Springs to remind me of the joy of life..
One never stops learning and don't fight the flow of your life. If a window opens, at least peak in.
I speak a little German, Spanish and French, but just enough to survive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to get to know about other cultures and who the people are and how they live.
I have always been hosted by families on band and choir tours growing up, and I want to return the kindness. I have hosted one gent for a week while he was filming in my area. He was polite, quiet and a nice person back in 2012, my first year on Couch Surfing. I've moved three times since then , so never "ready" to host. I say to my self, "I wouldn't care, as long as I can shower and sleep." So, I welcome folks now, despite my "construction zone." I have a large black goldendoodle, a futon and clean shower.
