ABOUT ME

I Grew up in Sydney near the beach and have always enjoyed getting out into the sunshine and having a great time and a good laugh. I think I'm a pretty laid back and whatever goes kind of guy.....but then again.....I may be biased.
I have an amazing family and awesome group of friends, but left it all behind to find out what the rest of the world offers.
I spent 2 years traveling and living overseas but now i'm home and cant wait to show fellow travelers and CS's my home city. The Beaches, bays, harbour, parks, bars and great food spots.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in passing on the traveling Karma and trying to show people the kind of great hospitality I've experienced across the world.
Try everything once, and even give things a second chance. Don't take life too seriously....its way too short.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By doing the easiest and most simple thing....hosting and explaining CS to people who've never heard of it.
And hopfully being hosted!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted once or twice and only recently had my first chance to host.
Both have been awesome experiences with many fun times.

Interessen

Meeting up with friends and meeting new people is what interests me most. Hence why I love working in a bar.
Love seeing listening to music, seeing live music and attending festivals. As you can guess music is a big part of me.
Believing in Traveling Karma.
PARTYING!!!
Getting outdoors and enjoying a nice day.
Playing sports.
Watching a good movie, or sometimes even a bad one.
Laughing and joking around with people, especially people with the same style of humour.
My new favourite activity is sailing which I had the opportunity to do last year for 3 months

Musik, Filme und Bücher

The music I mostly like is Rock, but electronic music is also a must.
Bloc Party, Muse, Beatles, Silverchair, The Chemical Brothers, Tool, Bob Marley, Crowded House, Daft Punk, David Bowie, Fat Freddy's Drop, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Pearl Jam, Infected Mushroom, The Shins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against The Machine, Air, The presets, INXS, The Knife, A Tribe Called Quest, Michael Franti, Nick Cave, Pink Floyd, The Strokes, Queen, 2 Many DJ's, Faith No More, Go Team, The Fugees, The killers, Kings Of Leon, Jurassic 5, Gorillaz, The Flaming Lips............ETC!!!! You get the idea.

The last few book's i've read were, The Beach, Scar Tissue, He Died With A Falafel in his Hand, High Fidelity.

I like most movies especially comedies, thrillers or films with a twist.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

-Become much more independent through my travels.
-Learning to sail on a yacht around the Meditteranean for 3 months visiting places like Egypt, Cyprus Tunisia, Malta and Italy.
-Sailing up the Nile on a Felucca boat at a snails pace without a care in the world.
-Seeing snow in London.
-Attending amazing music festivals in Belgium and Hungary.
-Couch surfed!
