About Me

I'm Mark, I'm a Hungarian from the northern part of Serbia, I doing my PhD on History in Szeged. I was erasmus student at Pilsen and did an internship in the lovely Kolozsvár (Cluj Napoca). I like to travel with lot of different forms, bike, car, hitchhike and during it I like to recieve a small part of their culture and lifestyle.
I am working as a tour guide, mainly in Serbia, Romania and Croatia, so have lot of experiences and things to suggest. Meanwhile I am the international manager of a light artist group, so hopefully we will discover together Europe. I am also the editor-in-chief of the local newspapier.
It is me in a nutshell. really like meeting with local people, talking about different point of views, experiencing new foods and stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an erasmus student in Pilsen and wanted to visit Nürnberg. I had a booked blablacar, but the ukrainian driver didnt answer for my 5 calls and simply let me there. Ive already been accepted by really nice couchsurfers, so I really wanted to go there. I was angry, with the same spirit went to the edge of the city and started to hitchike to Nürnberg, which was more than 200 km. I know my chances are not the best, but I could feel that something should happen. After waiting 30 minutes at the highway (!) one old german guy picked me up and without any stop took me to Nürnberg where I had a really good time with really nice people.
