About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Quit my job to go on a round the world backpacking trip with my wife. The mission is to travel for as long as we can.
ABOUT ME
I work to travel. I don't like to get in a hurry and prefer to stay longer in fewer places on a trip. If I could make a career out of traveling I would. I studied history at university and have been fascinated with geography & travel since I was a child. Spending so much time reading about other places makes you want to go see them for yourself.
My favorite place to visit in the United States is New Orleans because of the great food, music and outlook on life. As far as traveling outside the US, my favorite place so far is Italy.
PHILOSOPHY
Life motto: I can always make more money. I can't make more time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't host because I'm currently on an extended backpacking trip.
As a guest I am always quiet, respectful and clean. I am adaptable to the host's life. If you are busy and aren't up for much interaction, I am perfectly capable of entertaining myself and exploring your city. If you are up for hanging out and conversation over a few beers, that's great as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have any yet but am hoping to add many soon.
Interests
I love auto racing, specifically Formula 1 & Le Mans. If I'm not traveling for food, I'm traveling for a race. Turned a trip to the 24 Hours of Le Mans into a 3 week vacation when I went in 2010.
I like to cook and travel. I enjoy experiencing new places especially through food.
