I live in Fairbanks, AK. I work in Wildland Fire Suppression. This is a seasonal gig, and occasionally Ill take time to travel in the winter. I like to explore; see and learn new things, and experience other languages and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im travelling for a quick tour around South East Alaska. I havnt been out this way before, so im just looking for a little lodging, and maybe a hiking buddy too. I may do the Chilkoot pass in a week or two. I would really like to sea kayak as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Im not sure.....i spontaniously jumped in a fuel truck while it was beginning to roll down a very steep grassy hill at a Helibase. It was in nuetral, and the parking break was not on. An easy save! Chalked tires are a great thing!
