ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Marketa, I just graduated from CSU with a degree in Rec and Tourism. I love adventure, and plan to travel and meet new and interesting people for the rest of my life. I think this site is awesome because it brings people from all over the world together; to learn, share and trust. I think the more people that can be introduced to new and exciting experiences and cultures, then the less problems the world would have. I am excited to share what I can with people and learn more about the world and myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am living with a family, and am unable to share my home with others. Once I get out on my own, I can't wait to give back to the couch surfing community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have a couch surfing experience. I look forward to going to meetings in my community and meeting new and interesting people.

CrossFit, live music/ concerts, competitive swimming (100 Butterfly, 200 I. M.), sports, work, hiking, the great outdoors, FRIENDS, hanging with friends, and of course traveling (new experiences).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

So far, the most fun I have had on a trip with a school trip I took two summers ago to the Bahamas. The first week was "school." I stayed on a Catamaran with 11 other students, our teacher, and the captain. We learned how to sail the boat, and we visited many of the Cays. After the first week school was over, the Professor went home, and all the students stayed behind and rented a house for a week. It was literally the time of my life! We went to the beach, snorkeled, scuba dived be day and partied at night. It was really cool to be around a lot of people who shared a common purpose for one life: live life to the fullest. We genuinely got to know the locals, (which was my favorite part of the trip) and on the last day we were taken out to go diving for conk. I want to connect with people on every trip, and share what I have experienced and listen to their life stories. Together we can learn so much, that one person could never in their lifetime alone!

Everyone has their own perspective, and I find that very interesting. Everyone has had experiences that have molded them into the person they are today. I want to hear people's stories, and learn from them what I have not yet learned for myself.
