That reason isn't complicated and I think a lot of people (special here) will agree. I think, that travelling is really amazing opportunity how to discover other cities and their culture. I totally fell in love with that! But culture spirit isn't just about buildings and sightseeings - it's MAINLY about people, about people who are living there, because they create atmosphere and daily life. So that's why - because I want more from my traveling, I want to hear funny stories, stupid laws of that country, where to buy best beer and cheapest food in the city :))
