About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit every continent on the planet

ABOUT ME

musician, wanderer, thinker, tryer of new things. I love travelling. As my goal says I want to make it to every continent on the planet. But I'm not in any rush. There's no reason not enjoy all each continent has to offer. I'm pretty laid back, but when I go on trips my energy is boundless (almost). I've been travelling a lot ever since I moved to Prague over 3 years ago. I love meeting people with a completely different background from me, and I love finding out all the weird things about a culture you don't see in the travel books. The best advice I get about travelling comes from people who live in the places I'm going to and simply telling me what they're favorite thing to do is.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life with no expectations. (This a lesson I have to relearn every so often)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

guiding passers through, looking for guides in far away lands

Interests

crazy festivals, oversized monuments/buildings, traditional music and dance, definitely anything that has that special Wow! factor. I also play music here in Tokyo. I almost have a band together and hopefully soon we'll be playing out!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite
movies - The Godfather Part 1, Sweet and Lowdown
music - Radiohead, James Brown
Books - Anna Karenina, East of Eden

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the sunrise over the Mediterranean on my flight back from Egypt to Prague. Just one of the many amazing things I saw on my trip to Egypt. Everything was pitch black and then in about 20 minutes the whole sky turned into a huge rainbow.

Teach, Learn, Share

In Prague, Czech Republic - go to Cross Club (not a clubber myself but there are some crazy light fixtures spinning around and just various amazing decorations)
On Jeju, South Korea - climb Mt. Halla (big volcano)
In Tokyo, Japan - Go to Yoyogi park on Sundays (people dancing outside to 50's music with 2 foot high pompadours)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic, Japan, South Korea
