CURRENT MISSION

My current mission has two phases! Number one: stay put and be there for my son as long as he needs me. Phase two: move to Europe and get my Ph.D

ABOUT ME

Even though I have chosen Budapest as my 'home town' I am not sure that it is entirely correct. I have lived in so many different places that while Budapest is indisputably my birth place I can no longer claim it as my 'home town'. In fact, it seems rather exotic to me at times.
I love traveling but hate impersonal hotel rooms and organized travel groups. Maybe because I work with people and I like to get to know a place through the eyes of those who live there that I find CS such a marvelous idea.
I love reading, biking, hiking and working out and no I am no health fanatic, I also love cooking and enjoy a glass of wine.
In my next life I would love to be New Yorker with enough cash to easily afford a pair of Jimmy Choo with the necessary accessories.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not sure that I can claim to have a personal philosophy or at least not a consistent one. Sure I respect human dignity, integrity and self-determination but my understanding of it changes with every new encounter be that personal or intellectual.

I would love to help build a community where nothing else but human connectedness and sharing is the principle accomplishment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Way before this network was created we visited friends all over Hungary and some parts of Europe. Partly because we had limited resources but mostly because we not only met with our immediate friends and acquaintances but get to know their friends and acquaintances as well.It was great fun and wildly exiting. This is how we built wide networks which sadly disintegrated with time due to marriages, children, divorces...

Interests

I am interested in people and how they live and see the world, what they consider as important. I appreciate architecture(not claiming to know a lot about it) the same with any visual art. I love a well prepared meal, a good bottle of wine and good conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical taste is rather eclectic, I don't care if it classical or contemporary as long as I can relate to it I will listen to it. My current favorite authors are Salman Rushdie, Nadeem Aslam and a few not so well known Canadians.
Love movies and the theater. I feel the same way about them as I do about music.
