Hey there! I'm 25 and I come from Cork in the Republic of Ireland. In October 2015 I quit my job to take a year off backpacking. I'm travelling around South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South America. I love a burrito but never a quesadilla. I just don't think they're satisfying. Being honest, they're just a bit of a tease. Like a thin mexican panini or something. There's no sustinence, no body, no volume. I'd even go one of those crispy tacos over a quesadilla, at least those have a bit of character to them, a bit of flair, a little bit more to offer.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am on couch surfing to meet new people and experience the places I am visiting from a local persons point of view. I want to share my stories and hear about others. I am travelling alone so it's a great opportunity to meet some cool and interesting people. I haven't tried CS yet and I'm really interested in the experience and also the fact that it's really, really cheap.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

While doing a night dive in Ko Tao in Thailand I witnessed phosphorence for the first time. This is where plankton glows once disturbed. Seeing this at 30 metres under the surface in the pitch dark on the ocean floor was awesome.

Ehh...wanna learn some Irish? It might be useless these days but it sounds great. Pick up some phrases and practice the accent (apparently the sexiest in the world according to a poll I found once in the daily mail)

Irish people have a great sense of humour and are naturally friendly and accomodating. For a country with under 5 million people we have a massive cultural impact worldwide. Think of Irish bars, Guinness and St. Paddy's day. Guaranteed "craic".
