About Me

CURRENT MISSI
Ok guys,i dint use thus site so much but a random opportunity just arose,me and 3 friends are heading to spain on 10october to a quiet country town villa owned by friends family,we will have room for maybe 4 more people. We are looking for fun party type people who dont take life to seriously and dont like drama. We have booked a room for us on14to16 in benidorm for a party weekend which is open invite but you must book your own room, then back to house sunday till following wednesday when we leave. Please tell us what you can bring to the party and we can go from their, ignore the rest of my profile as its outdated, cheers.
Pretty laid back,a friend described me as being like a carpet on vallium, laid back to the max haha but not in a lazy way, just easy going.Im a polite person,a good friend and i will help anybody i can,if i can.I love to meet new people, see new places, make new friends, try new things.I have done a fair bit of travellingappartments for the athletes, then i travelled around a bit doing the usual picking fruit, doing odd jobs etc etc..then i went back for a holliday a few years later for 2 months, met a nice israeli girl, moved to devon in the uk with her, then we went to live in Amsterdam for 6 months and eventually parted ways...Then i went to spain, malaga, tennerife, looking for work but didnt really like the places,i went to Newyork and Miami for the same reason but again it wasnt my kind of place, thats nt to say i didnt have the best time and meet the most amazing people because that is a big part of why i do travel. Then in 2006 i went to New zealand for a working holliday and stayed their for 6 years so i got home just over a year ago...Thers to much to tell about it but it was the best time of my life...I wasnt on couch surfing but thats not to say i didnt do a hell of a lot of hosting (o; i met so many random awesome people through going out or through friends that came to my house and stayed for however long they stayed for and il never forget any of them.So now im in the uk missing the travel scene and the meeting new people from different cultures and im craving for some more great times so id like to try my luck in Cyprus!!

PHILOSOPHY

Everything will be ok in the end and if its not it won't be..simple! Life has its ups and downs and some things you just cant change so dont bother worrying about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

as above i have hosted a lot of people in the past and i have also been hosted on several occasions, usually in the most random ways but ive always had good experiences on both parts and never had a bad experience i can remember of,like people taking things from my house or taking advantage in any way so yeah, only positives for me so far..! (o; I also joined a volunteer site about a year ago which is basically working a few hours a day in exchange for food, which is another great way to travel and meet some nice people on the way!

Interests

Fishing, cycling, socialising, seing new places, old buildings and ruins to explore and many more...oh and my job,its a hobby and a job in 1 to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

hmm,my laptop is my book that i can watch movies on and listen to music. (0; i like a good documentary now and again,i watch a lot of films but tend not to read reviews so it doesnt spoil it for me,i enjoy it more if i dont know what they are about. As for music,im a radio man as thats what i listen to most at work so the dj picks it for me but pop, rock, classic that kind of stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying to Australia when i was old enough to get a visa, otherwise i probably would never have seen and done all the amazing things since i made that step!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm,well im not sure about this 1.I like to cook so could maybe swap some cookng skills,i can build walls, carve stone etc but that would take some time to teach so if you have the time ive got the patience.
