ABOUT ME

My name is Marek. I live in Poland in Pomerania in a small town called Tczew (30 km from the Baltic Sea). This is my hometown when I live since birth. I work here and I've got most of my friends in this area. I think I know this place very well so if you want to come here I happily become your guide. I can also just spend some time with you, have a cup of tea or a mug of beer :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use this website mostly to get to know some friendly, local people when I travel and embrace their hospitality ;) Sometimes I help other users when they visit my town and its environs. Once I participated in CS meeting in Wrocław when I've met many people from all over the world. That was a great experience.

兴趣

I'm a big fan of hitchhiking and I just love this way of travel. It simply makes me better man or rather this kind of man I want to be. I become more patient, open-minded, peaceful and warm-hearted. Don't ask me how does it work, because I don't know. Pure magic :) However, when I stay on the roadside with my backpack (which is actually everything I need), waiting for the unknow, for the next adventure, next gracious driver which completely selflessly let me get in his car, I feel great. Then I just know, that I am the master of my own destiny, I don't waste my time on this planet and I'm on the highway to my dreams.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent one night in kind of a castle bastille in Ukraine. It was a wild and free accommodation with a great view on the Khotyn Fortress.
