About Me

Currently taking it easy, trying to get back into CS after a long hiatus. Working full time, so that, along with my own projects, takes up most of my time. Besides being an archaeologist by profession, I also work as a cartographer, so if you are interested in that kinda stuff, I could show you some of my works! I also hike a lot, I ride a bike several times a week, and I love forests, mountains, and lakes. I am obsessed with optimization, minimalism, recycling, and sustainability. I can't stand people who litter. I love it when my balcony power plant produces more energy than I used that day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Alternative travel - once you try it, you never go back :). Meeting new (and different) people can lead to life-long friendships. Couchsurfing is a perfect way to combine all of my interests mentioned above.

Music, Movies, and Books

Basically any genre of music, as long as it's good. 60's Rock is something i wake up to in the morning, while Ska is on when I'm leaving the apartment. When I'm alone at the end of the day John Frusciante is my best friend.

There is no perfect film but some of em are really good- here's a random sample:
Cidade de Deus (2002)
Johnny got his gun (1971)
La guerre du feu (1981)
It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
The Thin Red Line (1998)

Not sure what books should i list here. I just hope the ones i read changed me enough. The last book i read is called 'The ladder of divine ascent', ascetic testimony of a 7th century monk/hermit.
