I'm a finnish guy living in Poland. I studied 5 years in University of Applied Sciences, first hardware for 2 years, and then software development 3 years, but it didn't feel like what I want from my life, so quit uni and traveled to work in Poland.

I love video games, and am often found staying on PC, playing games. Because of that, a ton of my social life happens there, on the interwebz.

But, because apparently there's life outside the window, I've started to go out with people. When that happens, I usually end up socializing with people on a glass of beer or other liquor.

I'm not afraid to try out something new, and if someone all of sudden asks to go somewhere with them, I'm usually up for it. Were it indoor climbing, bowling, go-carts, or just walking and enjoying the view, I'm up for it.

I'm also ex-musician, I studied 11 years of piano, 7 years of trombone, half a year of saxophone. In addition i played about 10 years of trombone in Jalasjärvi wind orchestra, traveling around Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine mentioned about this, so I'm kinda just trying it out as an option to normal staying in a hotel stuff.

Because of that musical background where I traveled around Europe, I tried out staying my nights at host families, and I just fell in love. So this couchsurfing sounds like a wonderful thing!

Interests

Video-games and esports, music, cooking (especially BBQ), technology and programming.

Also interested in finding more things I'm interested in. The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know, but that's what makes it so facinating.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: EDM (Deadmau5 to be exact, everything else is nowadays just too repetative), movie, tv and videogame soundtracks, a cappella, classical music.

Movies: Marvel, new Disney, Game of Thrones (not movie but had to mention), Lord of the Rings, Blue is the warmest color, J.J. Abrams movies, I Am a Legend.

Books: I don't really read nowadays, but if I would, I'd read A Song of Ice and Fire and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Last books I read and enjoyed: Percy Jackson, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solved rubics cube without help of guides from the internet.

I did several turn combinations, wrote it down to paper, checked what went where and what stayed on it's place. After that I just organized them up to a way to solve whole thing.

Afterwards I looked up some ways to get things done quicker, but the feeling when you try things for 3 weeks and plan out the whole thing and finally come up with an answer and try it and solve it, several times in a row, I feel like that's the most amazing thing i've done in my whole life.
