ABOUT ME / ABOUT US

I'm 30 years old carpenter from Finland. I do woodcarving at home (my workshop is in our lounge) and I teach woodwork at Adult education center in Tampere. I have done bachelor of social services as well. At the moment I study Adult education. My lovely wife Leena is speech and language therapist.

We love to travel and to meet new people! We really enjoy good food, beer, wines and cooking as well. I will cook dinner for us for sure!

"First we eat, then we do everything else"

We took one year study leave from our jobs. At that time we will study and travel. We arrived to New Zealand in August -17 and will stay there untill end of Marc -18. After that to Japan for a short visit. We are planning to go around NZ and will do house sitting and couch surfing as much as possible. Couchsurfing is such a good way to meet new people and to see the life in New Zealand. We are really easy going, responsible and tidy guests, we will do the dishes! :P

You are most welcome to stay at our place, if you ever travel to as cold place as Finland!

If you are interested of learning wood carving, I can teach you with that. I always have few wood carving chisels with me. Haha!

Back home I brew my own beers, so I can give you some tips with that too!
