Hello!

Just to get this out of the way - I joined this site a year or so ago but never actually got around to using it, so i'm a bit behind on the verifying aspect of things. I included quite a few pictures to help confirm that i'm not a creepo, haha. I recently got laid off from my job so i'm going to do some traveling between Boston, Montreal, Chicago and maybe a few other places. The plan is to bring my laptop to a coffee shop in the morning to do my job hunting and then relax and explore a bit for the rest of the day. I thought it would be cool to go the couch surfing route to meet some new like-minded people. I'm pretty independent and I definitely don't need anyone to drop everything they're doing. If you're cool with just having a coffee or a beer or two, that's cool with me. If you want to go an adventure, I'm into that as well! I'm a pretty mellow guy who doesn't like to party that much anymore. Im good for 2 drinks (maybe 3 on a wild night, haha), some coffee, movies, reading, meditation, and hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to get the most out of my experience. I definitely don't want to sit in a hotel by myself every night, but i'm also not sure I can handle a hostel very night either, haha. I really just want to meet good people and hopefully form some life-long friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I have always loved Rock N' Roll. It's been my favorite type of music since I was a kid. Anything from the Beatles and The Rolling Stones to Metallica and Motley Crew. I also LOVE Jazz, Oldies, Reggae, Indie, classical, world music, and blues as well. I'm listening to Lord Huron as I write this.

Books - I don't even know where to begin with this one. I have read almost everyday for the last 15 or so years and the books have varied drastically. Anything from Mafia thrillers to Rock N' Roll biographies to Business books, Spirituality and Metaphysics books, and almost everything in between.

Movies - I don't watch a ton as I don't own a TV, but I do enjoy them when it happens. Almost famous, Batman, Goodfellas, Old School, Office Space, Goonies, and Waynes World to name a few.
