I have surfed many many times and I've hosted when I lived in Brooklyn, NY as well. All positive! I believe Couchsurfing is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture.

I enjoy surrounding myself with positive people in positive situations. Traveling is a hobby of mine and I see it as an opportunity to not only learn about other cultures, but to self-nurture and experience self-growth.
