Overview
About Me
My name is Marla and I am studying law in Göttingen, probably to become a judge one day. In my free time I mostly engage in political activities and social engagement. At the moment I am part of an organisation that gives refugees legal advise for free.
One of my favourite things to do is discussing interesting topics. Mostly I enjoy discussions about politics, psychology, law and philosopy. I am especially interested in reforming the punishment system and can talk a lot about it.
I also love sauna, hiking, swimming, spicy cocktails and delicious food- preferably all on the same day ;)
Loyal, easygoing, stubborn, rational, kind, rebellious, honest, refreshing are just a few adjectives people use to describe me. Some fictional characters with many similarities to my personality are Leia (Star wars), Hashirama (Naruto), Kvothe (the kingskiller chronicles) and Arya (Game of Thrones).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My travels I remember the most had all one thing in common. I had the possibilty to get to know interesting (local) people. I don´t really like the typical hotel-only sightseeing kind of travel. I prefer to have real experiences and also learn something I will actually remember.
Moreover, it is a very nice concept. A big world community welcomming each other at their homes and sharing a piece of their lifes.

Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I guess I can tell you stuff about German law, but no one wants to hear this (for a good reason).
I could also teach you German and about typical German life and politics.
I am always eager to try and learn new things. Mostly I´d like to learn about your life, your culture, your experiences of life.
If you let me stay with you I will probably bring you something to eat from Germany or the country I was before I traveled to you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really like to help out, do the dishes, help you clean your home or cook for you, if you like. I am not a person who lets someone serve her.
