We are two girls from Sydney and the US travelling Australia together. We love hikes and sunsets and all things nature, but are also happy to live it up in the city!

Hey there, this is Marlee (from Portland, OR) speaking, and I'm on a working holiday visa in Australia for the year. I love to play music- jam sessions always welcome- and embark on spontaneous adventures whenever possible. I'm a bartender for work and have saved to travel for the rest of the year. I love dancing and playing board games and cards/drinking with new homies whenever suits!

Hi it's Marissa :)) I grew up in Sydney, tried Perth out for the last few months but now moving to Melbourne looking for more adventure and to do a Bachelor of Environmental Science. I'm damn curious so expect lots of questions, always up for good chats about what life is and other absurdities.

We met in Perth working in a venue together and became great friends, then lived together for a few months before deciding to see more of Australia as a travelling duo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're stopping through Adelaide, and anywhere else that looks or sounds lovely on our way to Melbourne. We wanted to see the City of Churches as we've heard good things :) We are looking for someone to host us for a night or so and point us in the direction of good times. Of course, we're always capable of finding our own, but seeing places through the eyes of people who love the place is a perfect way to start off

What I Can Share with Hosts

We know a lot of random and fun games that we can happily teach any willing participants. We are happy to play with/walk/feed your pets and we are happy to cook delicious healthy meals if you want :)
We will gladly bring music to the table- if you have a piano or a guitar we will be right there jamming with you!
