Born and raised in South Germany, lived in Copenhagen, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Munich and Arequipa (Peru). I'm interested in space in any dimension, from the local to the global. I preferred landscapes over storybooks even as a child and this passion has remained. Concerned about climate change, migration, famine, global health... But also optimistic about our generation to build (back) better ;-)

I am passionate about cooking, winter sports, dancing, books and music. Wannabe-vegetarian, but sometimes I just cannot resist Swabian mince-filled "Maultaschen". Why to decide between beer and wine when you can have both?

I love books, although I sometimes prefer showing off with a fancy book shelf over reading them. This is not the case for books from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Zadie Smith, Ernest Hemingway, Erich Kästner, Astrid Lindgren, and many more ;-)

I am the least informed person on movies and series you can imagine. I own a Netflix and an arthouse cinema subscription though!
