About Me
We are a couple living full time in our new mobile home! We have decided to try out a new lifestyle. We are now travelling the US, making our way up to British-Columbia for the summer and then, we would like to go up north in the Yukon. After that, ... who knows right?! Mexico, Alaska and South america, are all on our list! We'll keep on moving untill we no longer feel the need to!
We also have a little companion named Olivia as you can see on the picture. She is a 4 years old pitbull weighting in at 48 pounds. She is a little shy at first, and she is not your typical family dog, but once she adopts you it's forever. She is very energetic and looooves to play, so it's a great way to bond with her! Now she does come from a shelter so she may have her little flaws (nothing we can't deal with). Nonetheless she's a very good dog. If you are considering hosting us, you must love dogs :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be with the locals. Learn from them, and share with them.
We have experienced hosting surfers at our place in Montreal, and we just love it! We got to meet a bunch of really cool people. Unfortunately, we did so via our roomate's couchsurfing profile, and since ours is brand new, we do not have any references! But hey, it's never too late!
As we have soon found out, living in a mobile home has many positive aspects, but it also has its fair share of constraints, one of them being that we can't really enjoy the city life as much, because our rig is kind of big, so it's not easy to park. We always find ourselves going through cities as fast as possible because its kind of a hassle to navigate in them, and we sometimes feel that we are missing out on some things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lately, Marlene has really been into detective novels. Music wise, she likes anything from hardore punk to classical and zen music.
Gabriel likes a variety of musical styles, from old school hip-hop to classic rock, but lately, he's been feeling the african blues!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taking a leap of faith; Leaving everything which wasn't meant for us behind, buying ourselves a mobile home and working towards finding our own genuine path to life!
Teach, Learn, Share
Keeping it real is a full time job!
