My current mission is to travel to Costa Rica in April 2013 and celebrate my 70th birthday.

I love to travel. I am retired so celebrate recess every day and love it.
I have travelled to many places in the world but have many more to seek out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just found out about couchsurfing from a friend.

Interests

In my free time I read, crochet, knit, hike, kayak, canoe and in the winter months which are long in my part of the world, my husband and I cross country ski, skate and snowshoe.

Music, Movies, and Books

My list of books that I have read is just too lengthy to list but two of my favorite authors are Lisa Jackson and Mary Higgins Clark.
I am a rock and roll fan and love murder/mystery/who done it movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I have done is when I travelled to Greenland and I saw iceburgs "calf". What an amazing sight.
The second thing I did that has been on my 'bucket list' for years is walking on the Great Wall of China. I never thought I would ever get such an opportunity.
