ABOUT ME

As a person I am spontaneous and social. I love being busy, doings lots of things. I enjoy things varying from playing tennis to serious conversations, from dancing random on the street to singing with my choir. My interests are mostly music, and cultural things, which I don't make enough time for in my daily life.

兴趣

What I enjoy most in life is the enjoying part. I always keep in mind that our lives are there to be enjoyed. What that means for me is that I study Applied Mathematics in Delft, where I have joined an active student society. There I meet lots of people and make myself usefull in a comittee.

Also I love to sing, which I have done for two years in a jazz-choir. This was new to me, but it is something I will never forever leave. On sports, I'm not so fanatic, but playing tennis is what has taking my attention for a year already. I enjoy it.

Next to this I always plan more things, until I start racing all over town. That makes me stop and think again what I prefer most. I look around, love the sun and wind, and make sure to live slower. That helps, for a week.

On holidays and in cities I always like to see some cultural museums or so, but overall I love to get to hear the story that is behind the city. Not the touristic attractions, but the small roads or the art gallery nearby is what makes me most happy.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once visited the Reichstag in Berlin on my birthday. For that reason my friends made me wear a crown all day. In de lift down the Reichstag people asked me what I was the queen of. This resulted in a lift full of singing people for me, and me walking out the lift first.
