Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that staying with locals exposes me more to the culture and lifestyle. I lived with host families in Brazil and Peru and was introduced to so much more of the culture than if I had stayed in hostels. I experienced the food, traditions and way of life.

I grew up in a big family that always had a couch for others and I have met so many amazing people who stayed at our house for short (or long) times.
