Skiing is my favorite though I do greatly enjoy paddle boarding, mountain biking, backpacking/scrambling. While in the front country, I seek out great places to eat, listen to music and relax/spa.
I like costumes, late night parties and artsy/weird events. I have been known to go climbing and make art.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in grade school, I had over 20 pen-pals at once because I wanted to try to speak with as many people in the world, because it was sad to me that I wouldn't know everyone before I died—this is a continuation of that childhood dream.

I’ve returned to Couchsurfing as it’s my preferred way of traveling around this world - by experiencing and connecting with local people and learning about their lives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping into the clear, soft lakes of Poland and Lithuania surrounded by mushroom laden forests and endless skies

Hiking up Mt. Fuji, very ill-prepared at age 20 exhausted, cold, lacking food, water…then witnessing the birth of the sunrise over all possible clouds

Seeing rainbows fall from the sky in Mongolia

Admiring the way the moonlight makes the snow-covered Himalayas shimmer at night

Witnessing the colors of endless dusk dance on the granite faces of the Lofoton mountains in summer

Swirling about in the clear turquoise cenotes of the Yucatán Peninsula
