ABOUT ME

We are a young couple, of 28 and 29, both doing our second long trip far from home.
Passioned by brazilian music, doing lots of stuff around dancing and playing, at least when we are not working !
Seg is a teacher in the primary school, when Fafa is a professor of Physics near Bordeaux.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have several friends who are practising it yet, they talked a lot about it, very positively, so we are looking forward !

Now it's impossible to host someone, our flat is very small. We look forward to finally welcome all people of the earth...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We did our first big trip on the East Coast American and Canada last year.
We were greeted by many wonderful people, this experience will be unforgettable thanks to couch surfing!!

Interests

Seg : 1. I like the brazilian music and all the dances.
I'm involded in a brazilian "banda", like percussionnist and dancer.
2. I practice several sport: running, cycling and then I have a time, swimming and hiking.

Fafa : 1. passioned by music, percussions, especially brazilian ones. I'm involved in several musical groups, such as a samba school in Bordeaux, a Maracatu group, a samba reggae group, as a player of snare, and also a "banda" in Mont de Marsan, south west of France, as a director of the percussions section. I play cavaquinho since 2 years : I love it.
2. practise also skiing, in french Pyrenees, in sport club, I practise squash and running.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films : Pulp fiction and other tarentino's movies, kubrick' movies, fight club, Into the wild, Requiem for a dream, Michel Gondry's films, ... and so many more !

Music : all style, even if brazilian musics shake us more than the others ! (MPB, Seu Jorge, casuarina, Lenine, marcelo D2, ...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fafa : playing percussion few minutes in front of 17000 persons during a concert in Paris.
The Grand canyon national park.
Segolene : go to the Sahara desert in Tunisie and to hike in the Red Wood national park, the calm was very discouncerting!

Teach, Learn, Share

brazilian music, the french food, physics.
For our trip to Brazil in particular, we want to learn and share the dance and Brazilian music (percussion and cavaquinho).
