ABOUT ME

I'm 23 years old, recently graduated in biomedical sciences, and looking to experience the world through travelling and assisting in voluntary projects.

PHILOSOPHY

"If you do not allow yourself to make mistakes or take risk, you will never fully experience life"

I have lived my life mostly on the safe line, not taking risks and feeling extremely guilty each time I make a mistake. I can be considered a perfectionist. Therefore, I decided to tackle a new philosophy in which I stress the importance of allowing yourself to take risks and make mistakes. I hope travelling the world and assisting in volunteering projects will help me develop this particular skill.

A friend of mine recommended couchsurfing to me when I explained my idea, so this would be my first experience.

Musica, film e libri

I like basically any type of music, though hardrock and metal would not be my choice of music. I have a broad interests in movies, although I tend to dislike Westerns. Considering books, I should take more time into this... I used to read through entire libraries, basically any kind of genre, but while studying the time I invested in reading fiction has lessened.

I would be able to share general knowledge on cancer, and cancer-related academic research. Also, I like to inspire and I would love to use my knowledge to inspire people to contribute to academic research on cancer and cell biology.

I would be grateful to learn skills which are unique to different culture, e.g. specific types of craftsmanship. In addition, I enjoy hearing stories about (the hardships of) life and how to tackle and deal with obstacles in your life.
