ABOUT ME

I guess I fit into the quiet/shy category, but really I always listen first before talking.

I'm a slow grower too, but thats ok you see, because that way I'm gonna be evolving/improving changing for my whole life.

I love old stuff, vintage clothes, music, history, I love finding stuff that appears to have been discarded or overlooked and making it my own. Lately I've started wanting to break out of this pattern with my music listening and find out what the new stuff is! The new, the new...

Can't go past post WWII jubilee gospel music though, I went crazy listening to that for a couple of months this year. I'll always have a fascination with the highs (and lows I guess) of human artistic/cultural achievement...

Grew up in a city in New Zealand called Dunedin, settlers in the 1860's from the UK made a city modeled on Edinbourgh... fascinating now that I've lived in other places, but was not so clued up as a teeenager!

Anything to do with music pretty much... Also interested in History (like how the hell did we end up here), Artists (love being inspired by other peoples creativity), Dancing (just started swing dancing lessons, and can't resist certain types of music, especially if its loud), Hiking/Tramping (NZ bush is beautiful and pretty easy to get to)... Beach of of course TRAVEL

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a professional musician, and in NZ I teach guitar lessons at a primary/intermediate school... so Guitar/bass/drums/keyboards I can teach. Love to make music with new people.

Love to learn... filling in this box with my skills is great, but how do I list all the things I don't know, that I wished I knew? suprises?
