Overview
About Me
Hello, I’m Marouane, a calm, respectful, and open-minded person who truly enjoys human connections and meaningful conversations.
I’m originally from Morocco, currently living in Europe, and at this stage of my life I’m focused on building stability, growth, and a peaceful future with my wife.
I value honesty, kindness, and simplicity. I’m not a party person — I prefer deep talks, sharing experiences, learning from others, and living with gratitude. People often describe me as trustworthy, thoughtful, and easy to live with.
For me, travel is not about places only, but about people, stories, and mutual respect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I truly believe in its original spirit: human connection over money.
At the moment, I’m passing through a temporary phase in life, and Couchsurfing represents for me a bridge of kindness between people. I’m not looking for luxury — only a safe, respectful place and a cultural exchange based on trust.
I treat every host’s home as my own, with full respect, cleanliness, and gratitude.
If one day I’m able to host, I will do the same with an open heart.
Interests
I’m deeply interested in understanding life beyond the surface. I enjoy conversations that go past small talk and touch on meaning, values, and personal growth.
I’m passionate about self-development and mindset — how discipline, faith, and daily habits shape who we become. I like exchanging ideas about motivation, resilience, and how people overcome difficult phases in life.
I have a strong interest in technology and innovation, especially how digital tools and artificial intelligence are transforming the way humans work, learn, and communicate.
Entrepreneurship and online business are also part of my journey. I enjoy discussing ideas, strategies, failures, and lessons learned from real experience, not theory.
I love discovering cities slowly — walking, observing people, architecture, and local life rather than rushing from tourist spot to tourist spot.
I’m very curious about cultures, traditions, and human psychology. I enjoy listening to people’s stories, understanding different perspectives, and learning how culture shapes thinking.
Finally, I have a deep interest in spirituality and philosophy — not in a rigid way, but as a personal exploration of purpose, gratitude, and inner peace.
For me, interests are not hobbies only — they are ways to connect, learn, and grow as a human being.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most meaningful things I’ve done is rebuilding my life from zero multiple times in different countries, always relying on faith, patience, and learning.
Each time taught me humility, strength, and the value of good people. It made me who I am today: grounded, grateful, and resilient.
