ABOUT ME

Hi! I just graduated with a degree in Psychology last year, and I decided to come back home to Indonesia to work for a bit and explore more of Asia! I finished high school in Indonesia and went to China to live there for a year, learning Chinese. I am a vegetarian too and I don't smoke.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Scotland and it was so amazing to know different cultures, languages and people in the world. I hope to do it again as well as to host people.

I listen to any genres of music, really. I particularly love alternative, indie and jazz. My favourite artists are Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, Jack Johnson and Ben Howard.

I love all types of movies too, although horror movies aren't my cup of tea.

I love fictions, especially those written by Haruki Murakami.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-My life in Xiamen! I got to know a lot of people from different parts of the world, who were also studying Chinese with me. It was probably the biggest turning point of my life, when I started seeing the world through different points of view.

-Studying all over the world, really. I enjoy studying in different places, seeing various perspectives that different parts of the world can offer about different things, meeting people from various backgrounds and meeting them again in the future!

-Hypnotism.. completely extraordinary!

I have always been interested in getting to know all different types of people, that also motivated me to do Psychology. I also want to improve my Chinese, English and German. I can also teach you some Indonesian, although I know that almost no people are interested in Indonesian :D

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

I am pretty good at cooking Indonesian fried rice, at least that's what my friends said! As the ingredients are the easiest to find for Indonesian food, this is what I normally cook for my hosts :)

I can also share bits of knowledge about Indonesian cultures, what to do and not to do as foreigners in Indonesia, my experiences living abroad in the UK and now, in the USA, how they differ from each other as well as my CS experiences in Europe and in the US.
