Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not too long ago I went on a long trip around Europe and realised I absolutely loved travelling. Since returning home I've been looking for people who share this interest so we can exchange stories and tips!

Interests

Travelling of course! But apart from that I love catching up with friends, whether this be over coffee (a really big thing in Aus for you new guys) or a beer. I love music - playing my guitar always helps me relax. And reading :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: When it comes to music I'll listen to something that relates to my mood. This usually ranges from classical to metalcore. My current favourite artists are La Dispute, Kanye West, Arctic Monkeys, Amity Affliction , Karnivool, Chet Faker and INXS. Like I said, a bit of a range.

Movies: Anything well written and acted so that I really feel emotions for the characters.

Books: Action/Fantasy/Sci-Fi usually, although I've been trying to mix in a few of the classics between reads. Just finished the Malazan Book of the Fallen series, easily the greatest series of books I've ever read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Built a racecar with a bunch of mates at uni! We designed and manufactured the entire thing from scratch in about 9 months. That combined with thesis writing basically took over my life for a year but looking back the experience was totally worth it. The feeling of finally seeing the car run for the first time was absolutely amazing.
