About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To boldly go places I have never been, to reach out and explore new civilizations, to practice interdependancy and sustainability...and have fun doing it!

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous person who enjoys new experiences, personal growth, yoga and dancing. Single mom of a wonderful teen son. I taught art for 30 years, have a past as a trapeze artist and business owner, now work in the fast car and financial industries.

PHILOSOPHY

Timing and perspective are essential to how we create our experiences. We are free to choose. I really prefer to choose getting along, opening up, and enjoying the journey!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have accidentally surfed in Savannah with my son at the home of a dear friend- he introduced me to this. Stayed in Denver over Christmas- wonderful! I would like to have surfers stay with me, it's all about timing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We stayed at my friend's b&b near the beach- it rocked! Just was in Denver over winter Holiday- was able to take public trans EVERYWHERE I needed, stayed with a very nice guy who, it turns out, gigs for a friend of mine. Stayed on his couch (!) for 2 nights during Christmas on my way to Shoshoni Yoga Ashram in Rollinsville, and it was so sweet and easy. Thank you George!

Interests

I am interested in positive people, travel, yoga, growing food, alternative healing, burning man, spirituality. I want to learn to use snowshoes!

Music, Movies, and Books

too vast to list, but all music, edgy movies, Elmore Leonard and anything about economics and the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snorkeled into a cavern that was lined in crystals in the carribean. I went to a circus camp run by Wavy Gravy. I saw 2 people survive a horrific car wreck. I spent a week in the Himalayas of America. I know that's 4.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always looking for the lessons- I share inspiration and hope for humanity. I have been around the block a few times, and it has led me to believe that it all starts and ends with what we choose to believe about our purpose here. I am endlessly entertained by life.
