Hey, I'm Marta, I'm 22 and I'm from Lisbon. I'm currently studying Nature Guides (Guias da Natureza) in the Azores, in Terceira Island. I'm a vegetarian and I love animals and spending time in nature, climbing mountains, doing pedestrian trails and things like that. I love travelling as well and when I do, I usually walk a lot to get to places, sometimes getting a lift if I'm lucky, and I camp in the wild. This is the best way to travel, in my opinion. Even though, I'm a little bit shy in the beggining I really like to meet new insteresting people that inspire me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like was said before, I love to travel and one benefit of travelling is that you meet new (very different, sometimes) people and this is, in my opinion, very important for one's personal growth, getting to know about other cultures and other forms of thinking and being. These two things more the benefit of saving money is perfect.
