About Me
Hi there!
My name's Marta. I've graduated in Automatic Control and Robotics from Lodz University of Technology but I was also working as a waitress. For me, the adventure with travelling is at the beginning but I believe there's so much to see in the world! That's why I'd love to visit as many places as I can :)
A few words about me?
I'm open-minded, cheerful person and I love hearing stories from others. In my free time, I like reading books, enjoying the nature, cycling as well as hunting for a really good music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe it's a very good option not only for budget travelling but it also gives you opportunity to meet wonderful local people - hear their stories and learn about their customs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to underground Electronic music but I am happy to explore also other genres.
My favourite book? The Witcher series. Definitely! I grew up on Harry Potter but I also like sci-fi, popular science and actually, I read all kinds of books :)
I wouldn't be able to pick one/two/five favourite movies... but I like movies which deliver a message or are somehow special.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well...
I think the most crazy thing I've done was leaving all behind (also I left my job) and start travelling :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I learn Spanish.
Recently I've worked as a volunteer in an orphanage in Nepal and tried to share some of my knowledge with the kids there.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my "life story" - but that sounds so obvious... I can tell you about my country (and of course about our wonderful Polish cuisine!), Europe. I can try to cook something Polish for you :)
I will happily listen to your stories and tell you about my travels.
I can also help at the house :)
