Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I joined Couchsurfing because i look forward to meeting new people along the way during my upcoming trip; I find the idea of Couchsurfing way more intriguing than sleeping at hostels, and, of course, it might help me save some money 💸

Interessen

I'm very open-minded and a lot of things interest me - if i had to point out several specific interests though, they would be:

• RPG (Role-Play Gaming such as Dungeons and Dragons and so); if you let me know in advance, I might DM a oneshot RPG session for you 🐲🎲

• Watching animated movies and cartoons 🐱

• Reading books (various genres, but right now i'm into classic novels and non-fiction literature) 📖

• Playing computer games (and possibly making one of my own in the future! Right now i'm working on a simple visual novel for my friend group) 🎮

• Cooking and baking; recently i got especially inspired by vegan cuisine (not vegan myself, but i look forward to going vegetarian/vegan in the future) 🥦✨

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music 🎶:

I can't really define my music taste because i honestly listen to a bit of everything; right now my favourite song would be A Pearl by Mitski.

Books 📖:

At the moment of writing (19.02.2025) I'm reading:

• "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy
• "The Book of Disquiet" by Fernando Pessoa

My favorite book that I've read during the past several years is definitely "The Priory of the Orange Tree" by Samantha Shannon - I highly recommend you give it a read if you haven't yet!

Movies 🎥:

I'm generally up to date with most of the releasing animated movies and cartoons, as animation is my preferred medium for storytelling; I've recently been enjoying a number of life-action movies and shows though, my current favorite being The Boys 🦸‍♀️

Games 🎮:

I consider myself to be a fan of computer games; some of my favorites include:

• Red Dead Redemption 2
• Disco Elysium
• Witcher 3

I held a pigeon in my hands in Cracow. I've always wanted to do that and it was exactly like i imagined it would be. 🕊️

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I'm planning to take a bag of Polish sweets on a trip with me - i'll gladly share them with you if you host me!

And on the more practical side - me and my friend with whom i'm travelling are both quiet and respectful and won't cause you any trouble as your guests.
