Hi! We're Marta and Gerard, a couple originally from Barcelona who spent 2 years living in Japan (that was an experience!) We love travelling and meeting new people in our travels, so a few years ago we thought about trying Couchsurfing in Australia. We were not disappointed!
We're easygoing, respectful, polite and clean people. We are very aware of people's privacy, although we are totally fine with sharing common spaces. Be sure we'll treat your place respectfully and leave things the way we found them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love travelling, but not all travelling styles. We're neither adventure freaks nor package trips fans. We're somewhere in between. We like having the freedom to make choices, but we think some planning ahead is sometimes necessary. But what we're definitely interested in, is meeting the locals and experiencing something more than what the average tourist usually gets.
Back home, when we have friends visiting or we meet some foreigners, we like sharing our culture, delicious food and traditions with them too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can discuss politics or not, that's up to you! But in any case we can provide some insight into Japan and Europe, particularly Spain and Poland. We can teach you some of our favourite recipes and practise speaking languages other than English! (see Languages I'm fluent in) We can play music or do yoga together :)
