About Me

CURRENT MISSION: Meet people from all over the world

I’m very kind, easy-going and full of energy. Recently I quited my job in Madrid and moved to Barcelona, where I am enjoying a more free lifestyle - one thing I enjoy the most I can go by bicycle everywhere -. Every Monday I go running with an international group, which is for me an open door to the world ^^
This summer I travelled by myself for the first time in my life, and I enjoyed it so much!! I love to get to know new people, listen to their stories, learn from their culture...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfin community is very enriching. Both the experience of host and being hosted is amazing, I really take pleasure in sharing, discovering, and taking care of each other.

All my experiences have been positive and made my trips somehow different, changing my mind and my way of thinking about travelling.

I really thank all the hosts that have 'sheltered' me because they gave me the feeling of hosting people and making the newcomer feel as good as my hosts did with me.

Interests

I love Arts so I like to spend my free time going to Museums, Cinema, Opera, Theatre, Concerts buuut obviously what I enjoy the most is going out with my friends or new people I meet to have a coffee or a beer!

Last year I tried scuba diving - I really got hooked. Love the experience of going deep under water, be able to move in 3D, like with no gravity, and swim with fishes like if you were one of them....

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic literature and Hispanic magic realism. Now reading Murakami who I am really enjoying.
Loved Amelie, vintage films and everything that makes me cry (not that easy!)
In search of new music that captivates my body and my soul ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sahara desert. I went to the refugee camps, as a volunteer. This was eight years ago and I am still marked by the experience. It broadened my horizons - I thought I was going to help, and indeed the one who was helped was me. Both the landscape and the lyfestyle really impressed me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to prepare mohitos :)
I am also very fond of cooking, so I always enjoy tasting new food, learning how to prepare a new recipe or prepare one of my favorite menus.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I studied History so I can share a lot of knowledge. I love listening to local stories and learning local customs. I always try to inform myself about the city before visiting, so I can tell some curiosity to hosts about the ciity they live in. And obviously for people coming to my place, I make a guided tour at the hot spots of the city :)
