I'm a 23-year old Croatian who ran away from her conservative home country to learn German in the streets and Swedish in the sheets (at the university, actually; but that sounds boring). I'm into Scandinavian literature, movies, animal and human rights, queer theory and cats. I'm crazy about cats and will mention them in every conversation. This also happens a lot with Britney Spears, the princess of pop.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a really bad taste in music and am proud of it. When I go out, I like to forget that this world is a bad place and dance to Taylor Swift hits.
I enjoy re-reading Harry Potter and trying to forget about all the parts with slavery, racism, sexism and heteronormativity.
Because of love I got hooked to movies I used to consider too old, too black&white or too silent. My all time favourites include Ulrich Seidl's Paradies: Liebe, R. W. Fassbinder's Angst essen Seele auf and Fritz Lang's Metropolis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've nursed a few abandoned newborn kittens back to life, which taught me that human parenting is not my thing, for no human child can measure up to a kitten who miracuously lives and grows up to be the perfection that is a cat.
