We are Marta Barceló and Biel Jordà, a couple that lives and travel together. We think we are lucky because we work in our passion: performing arts. Biel is a stage director and Marta is an actress and a theatre play writer. We have a theatre company (www.resderes.com), with which we perform physical theatre, usually with circus skills on them. Besides that, we just have opened a creation center in performing arts in an old cinema in Sineu. We have many expectations with this project. (For more information, check www.cinesineu.com)
We like a lot to travel and many times we have to do it with our company. Last summer we did a tour in Europe and we were in Sweden, Denmark and France, Belgium. We love to perform abroad because is a way to meet other countries and new people.

Somos Marta y Biel, una pareja que vive y viaja juntos. Nos sabemos afortunados, ya que trabajamos en aquello que nos apasiona: las artes escénicas. Biel es un director de escena y Marta es una actriz y escritora de teatro y guiones televisivos. Tenemos nuestra compañía de teatro (www.resderes.com), con la que hacemos espectáculos de teatro físico, normalmente con inclusión en ellos de técnicas de circo. Nos gusta mucho viajar y muchas veces tenemos que hacerlo con la compañía. El pasado verano realizamos una gira por Bélgica, Suecia, Francia y Dinamarca. Nos encanta actuar fuera de nuestras fronteras porque es una oportunidad para conocer otros países y gente nueva.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because we think the best way of travelling is through meeting people from the place. We have travelled a lot, and we apreciate so much when you have a nice welcome or have the opportunity to meet a country from the inside.

Porque pensamos que la mejor manera de viajar es a través de conocer a la gente del lugar. Hemos viajado mucho, y sabemos cómo se aprecia una bonita bienvenida, o tener la oportunidad de conocer un país desde dentro.

Interests

We both like meeting people, sharing experiences, admire the nature (tracking), almost all kind of music and dance.
We like cooking. Biel is vegetarian, and we cook a lot with organic and healthy food..
Despite the above, Marta confesses that loves chocolate and laughing.

A los dos nos gusta conocer gente, compartir experiencias, admirar la naturaleza (senderismo), y casi todo tipo de música. También bailar.
Nos gusta mucho cocinar. Biel es vegetariano, así que cocinamos mucho con comida orgánica y saludable.
A pesar de eso, Marta confiesa que ama el chocolate. Y reirse.

Books. Marta: Episodios de una guerra interminable, from Almudena Grandes. It's a project of seven books based on the Spanish Civil War. For the moment, she has written three of them, and they are very good. I like a lot Galeano, who died recently.
