Overview
About Me
Hey my name is Martha,a friendly and open-minded person who loves meeting people from all walks of life. I'm based in Nairobi, and I enjoy sharing my space with travelers who are respectful, curious, and kind.
My home is simple but cozy, and I believe in creating a safe and chill environment for anyone who stays. I love learning about new cultures, hearing stories, and exchanging good energy. Whether you're here for a short stop or a deeper connection, you're welcome as long as you're genuine and open-hearted.
I can offer tips about the local area, help you navigate, and maybe even show you around if our schedules match! I host with the intention of cultural exchange, kindness, and human connection.

Music, Movies, and Books
📚 Books:
I enjoy books that inspire and challenge the mind. Think Big by Ben Carson is one of my favorites — I love stories that motivate and show the power of resilience and belief.
🎬 Movies:
I’m into thrillers and comedies — I love a good plot twist just as much as a movie that makes me laugh. Anything that keeps me entertained or lightens the mood is a win.
🎶 Music:
I’m drawn to music that soothes the soul. Whether it's soft R&B, acoustic, or mellow vibes, if it brings peace and good energy, I’m into it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most beautiful things I’ve experienced as a host was sharing a sunset hike with a guest — we didn’t speak the same first language, but we connected deeply through nature, laughter, and stories. That moment reminded me how powerful and healing human connection can be, even between strangers.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I love teaching about digital tools and productivity — especially how to stay organized as a virtual assistant. I also enjoy sharing tips on outdoor activities, nature-based wellness, and how to connect with the outdoors for mental clarity. If you're interested in creating a remote lifestyle or working online, I'm happy to share what I've learned!
Learn:
I'm always open to learning about other cultures, traditions, and ways of life. I’m especially curious about different foods, music styles, and personal routines that bring peace or joy. I also enjoy learning new languages or simple phrases, and hearing travel stories.
Share:
I enjoy meaningful conversations, sharing meals or nature walks, and exchanging knowledge about culture, spirituality, and remote work. Hosting is my way of building beautiful connections with people from all over the world, and I'm happy to create a safe, friendly space for that exchange.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a host, I offer a clean and safe space to sleep, good company, and a local’s insight into the area. I enjoy sharing stories, meals, and tips about things to do around here. Depending on my schedule, I might be able to show you around or share a meal together. I respect everyone’s space and energy and just hope to make your stay feel comfortable and memorable.
