Overview
About Me
I live in London and have just spent the last three months renovating my narrowboat Justice after leaving my job working with under fives and their families. I'm an outgoing introvert; love to dance, chat and read. I'm trustworthy and a good friend. I really care about people and enjoy them. My favourite thing is probably good conversation while walking in nature or over a delicious meal. I work to try to create spaces for dialogue and for mutual support.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have wanted to host couchsurfers for a while but am just about to visit San Francisco for two months so thought I would try out being hosted first...hopefully!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music with a groove because I like to dance: neo soul (I just went to see D'Angelo last week - amazing!), reggae, blues, jazz (especially gypsy swing), rare groove and some R&B.
Films...serious dramas about social ills usually. Ones that make you think and are challenging and expose you to experiences you might never have yourself.
I like gentle books with little action like I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well I just bought a boat to live on. Hopefully you get to enjoy it too!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm collecting the favourite recipes of people I meet - it would be great to get yours! I can show people around East London, take them to nice bars, parks, museums or whatever. You can meet my friends. And we can tell you about all the best bits of England you should visit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to cook for you or help with any DIY stuff you need doing. I'm pretty handy.
