I grew up in Taichung, Taiwan. I'm currently teaching English in a public high school in Taichung. I live with my husband in a quiet neighborhood, with arrays of restaurants within walking distance and a huge supermarket just across the street.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I have visited many places. I found that the most fascinating and wonderful things that I experienced in my trips were actually not the places I visited but the people I met. The conversations we had and the things we did together were the most precious memories. They are the living example that human lives could have such a variety and such creativity and they have a huge impact on how I view things differently. I believe the best way to travel in a place is to spend time with a local person. I'd love to meet some like-minded people, and therefore I am looking for an opportunity to host while visitors come and stay when I travel.

Interests

Cooking, playing guitar, singing, used to have cats and dogs, but what I love the most is traveling and sharing ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rowed a boat with my husband in Cesky Krumlov in Czech Republic, making friends with everyone else in the river and drank their wine, singing national anthems.
